I am a secondary teacher in Sydney, Australia. I mainly teach Economics, Business Studies, Commerce and Society & Culture. I sometimes teach junior Computing, History and Geography. I have also been a faculty manager, an online school manager and part of an Innovative Learning Team (ILT). Being part of the ILT was the highlight of my teaching career.
I have a Master of Education (Curriculum and Pedagogy) through Macquarie University and a Master of Arts (Writing and Literature) through Deakin University. I have recently completed a Master of Research which rolled onto a PhD in enterprise education, due to be submitted in 2022. To help fund this endeavour I do some casual teaching but thankfully I have some regular income due to a scholarship.
As a side project, I have a business called Think Learn Act which covers activities such as running professional development, consulting, researching, writing and marking. In October 2018 (NSW school holidays), Think Learn Act ran a course called Navigating Pedagogy on a cruise to Noumea and New Caledonia. It is running the course again in April 2020.
